Hi Guys

First of all, I know that there are plenty of Logon Screen Customization Software, Applications, etc. out there, but I'm not looking for anything modified.

I recently Installed Mac OS X Snow Leopard i7 Transformation Pack onto my pc.
I noticed a differance in performance and therfore wanted to uninstall it. After going through all the Uninstall steps, I still needed to replace my explorer.exe file with the original one, as it gets modified during installation of the Transformation Pack.

Anyway, I got everything back to Original Windows 7 Aero Theme, Start button, etc. But I still can't get my Logon Screen sorted out. Because when I startup, the Apple Logo still appears at the bottem of the Blue Background.

How can I remove this Apple Logo? I have restored the Registry with the original file located under C:\Windows\System32\oobe\background.jpeg

I do not have a \\Info\Backgrounds\ file located under oobe. I even created this to see if it would work, but doesn't.

Help would be appriciated.

Hi Arc

Thanks for the welcome.

System File Checker worked like a charm.

Thank you very much.

The elements which are not default now are ... logon screen, start menu icons, and windows icons?

If SFC Scannow does not revert them back to defaults, the easiest way is to go for a http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html .

If SFC does not revert them back, it indicates that the resource elements are not present in the system environment any more. Then it is to place them there, one by one. That process is laborious and time consuming. Repair install can do it in a single go.
