My ThinkPad WiFi driver is fading fast. The driver was in and out for a while; now it's mostly out. I would love to upgrade the driver, and make this thing more stable, but I don't know where to start (I have tried installing a couple Win7 WiFi drivers; none have solver the issue). Does someone out there have a recommendation for a driver that works well on a ThinkPad T430 machine? If so, please share a link! Thanks!!

Fist we have to find what is the WiFi hardware code.
Open device manager, on network adapters, double click on the WiFi hardware.
On Details Tab choose Hardware ids. Click on fist line, right click and select copy.
It's something like PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_001A&SUBSYS_2052168C&REV_01
Paste the code here and Google the code to find the drivers for it.

A driver is a program, and typically drivers don't just go in and out. However hardware can and will often do exactly that, usually due to a bad connection or cold solder joint. A good tech could probably fix that for you.:geek:

Good Luck,
