looking for ethernet driver dell

Hi, I just installed win7 on an old PC and everything installed fine except the Ethernet driver. I can't seem to find it for win7. Can I get help finding it please? It's a deal inspiron 537.

Product Support | Dell US - (vendor ID show it is Realtek). However that one seems outdated.

The second one in list (Win7 and Server 2008 R2 Auto Installation Program (SID:1726062)) should work.

The network controller was not found. If deep sleep is enabled, please plug the cable.

did you try the driver from dell? i would install the chipset driver first then the realtek driver from dell site

I tried both. Error on both. Chipset was installed automatically. There's no errors in device manner except this Ethernet driver.

Chipset first definitely.

The NIC is same in those two, so should work.

Try the Dell one as Oscer told, if Realtek drivers won't work.

Yes I have, but can't find the correct one.

ill reset the mobo and give it a shot. i reset defults on it, but ill pull the battery and see what goes. Thanks!

No go after cmos clear. Guess I'm going to have to buy a wife adapter or something.
