Looking for hard drive activity monitor.

Acer desktop Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit 4 GB RAM

Last April I bought a new Acer desktop but it doesn't have any activity lights on this model. I would like one for the hard drive at least. I could remember using a program a long time ago (I think it was with Windows ME or early XP) that would put a little light down by the clock that would blink with hard drive activity but can't remember the program's name. I'm not really looking for monitors as far as health is concerned, just want an activity monitor light. I hope this makes since to somebody. Any suggestions?

If that doesn't work out, I've been using driveGLEAM without trouble, and there is an option to use the keyboard Scroll Lock LED instead of having a tray icon. Makes good use of the otherwise unused keyboard light (who uses scroll lock anyway?)

Wow, that's so useful Ztruker. Thanks for sharing. These days, quite a lot of laptops come with either no HDD light or the LEDs are placed mostly at an inconvenient location. One of my friend's Dell XPS laptop has it power and HDD indicator LEDs placed right behind the display, LOL, means one needs to put the lid down to see if there's activity, lol.

This HP notebook has no drive light either... It doesn't even have a SCROLL LOCK key much less a LED for the same. Good idea for desktops however.
