Looking For Some DVD AUTHORING SOFWARE

I'm currently looking for some dvd authoring software like convertxtodvd or AVStoDVD but
want a much higher output in quality...

The input format list must be a WIDE range as well.. mkv,avi,divx,xvid, etc...

FavC uses Hcenc (the same encoder AVStodvd Does) and none of the programs support mkv in the list...

I use FavC to convert HD mkv rips to DVD all the time...

I like Dvd Lab Pro and used on XP pro, but I get this error message,

"The program can't start because mpgenclib.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

After searching I can't find a solution. The Dvd Lab Pro forum has questions about this but no answers.

It seems you are not alone with this problem. I don't know why that isn't part of Dvd Lab Pro. That's a premium price for software. There's alot of Questionable places on google trying to sell that. I can't speak for what kind of support they offer since I don't own the software but you could try that route.
Have you tried compatibilty mode, XP mode?

I also noticed those questionable sites selling that file. There is no way I'm buying that file. I use "Web of Trust" Firefox plugin and it flags most of those sites as dangerous. It's a shame because I liked Dvd Lab Pro.

BWK, I'll check out that video software. One area I haven't solved is this. I have a Tivo 3 Series and I transfer concerts to the pc. I can decrypt the .tivo files and convert them to mpg, but every piece of software I've tried so far to convert the mpg to wave and then burn to a cd is just crap. The ac3 file is very low in volume so the amplitude needs to be raised.
