Looking for specific updates

I have Googled till my eyes are dropping out for a way of looking for a specific Windows / Microsoft update but apart from wading all the way through the lot :(I cannot find any other option.

Any ideas please before I go stir crazy.

Yes mate that is the problem I have Googled for a Windows update for an Xbox but just get referred to searching the history and it is a seriously tedious business - for the OP on one of his other machines.
I just thought there might be a way of say asking for the latest or specific update for example Window's defender etc etc

xBox updates are a whole different ball of wax - your best bet is probably to trawl the xBox forums for clues.

Yes Derek I posted onto the thread as it was down the list a bit and thought I might ask in my own thread to find out how to find specific updates.

Actually why there seems to be no hits in looking for updates for that device I can't understand as the Microsoft KB setup I have has specific drivers and some updates for it. So being Microsoft I reckoned the Xbox would too:confused:

Oh meant to add the support for that device does seem to be weak to say the least form Microsoft.
