lost command on the edit menu

My question was,

'how do I add specific locations to the Move To menu?'

The answer I found was,

'In explorer select a file or folder, click on edit, select move to folder and choose create new folder.'

Doing that I do not see 'move to folder' in the edit menu.

So, my question is,

is that the right answer, and if it is, how do get that command back on the edit menu?

I did as in your example I selected a file then went to Edit and down to Move to folder and when the move window opened up I first selected the Desktop (as an example) and then clicked on New folder and then Click on the Move button and it moved that file I selected to the New folder on the Desktop. Have a look at my screen shots.

Thank you! It's good to know that works.

Now my problem is,

when I go to the Edit menu, 'Copy to folder' and 'Move to folder' aren't there.

Try Option 2 of this tutorial http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html it will not harm any data or programs you have installed it will try to find and repair any corrupt system files that you have. You may need to do this up to 3 times with a reboot after each scan.
