Hi All. Thank you in advance for your assistance with this matter.

I'm running W7 Ultimate on a network w/ 2003 Windows domain. When I first added this computer to the domain, everything worked fine for about a month. Then one morning I came into the office, tried logging in and received a message that the computer has lost it's trust connect with the domain.

I logged into the server w/ the DC, reestablished the trust connection from the server side but the comp is still giving me the "Can't establish trust connection" error message when I logged in.

My current workaround is unplug the network cable, log into the comp then replug the network cable.

Thoughts? Need additional info from me? Please advise.

Thanks again for your assistance.

Cheers,

Lu

Lost Trust Relationship With Server 2003 Domain

Fix: Log in as a local Administrator, and leave the domain, reboot, then log in and re-join the domain. Be sure to type the FQDN (fully qualified domain name) in the domain field.

This works on all machines I have encountered the problem on our netowrk. The problem seems isolated to Server 2003 domains and windows 7 machines. Additionally, I have only encountered this on laptops lately... My HP XW4550 workstation with win7 pro has not had the problem yet... (knock on wood).
