Hello:
I upgraded my system (Dual Core 3.4GHZ Intel based server with 4GB RAM) from Vista SP2 to Seven SP1 (32 bits). At first login, when I hovered the mouse pointer over the taskbar icons to get the thumbnail preview, I got this nice smooth transition effect between icons.
But after a few days of use I lost the smooth transition effect; thumbnails now change in a fast, direct way.
I did a repair install to ensure system integrity; smooth effect was recovered after repair install.
But now, 2 days after repair install, smooth transition is gone again.
Already did a sfc /scannow and no integrity problems revealed.
Also tried a Microsoft Fix it for areo Glass, and other troubleshooting procedures; but no problem was detected.
Any ideas on how to recover the smooth effect, and what the problem might be?
Thanks.
