I just set up a new computer (Win 7 Pro). The thumbnail preview on the Taskbar is an very useful tool; it visually shows the document I'm working on and makes it easy to open it from the Taskbar.
I'm getting that "oh, no" feeling one gets when something important is missing and can't get it back.
I've just spent the last 1.5 hours searching for a fix: registry (terrified of it), Aero ?, a little Tweak program that only a seasoned geek could work, etc.
I personally find not having the thumbnail previews is an impediment to fast computing; I have to sit there and read the tiny written descriptions.
Help, please. ellenc
