Solved lpt3.Drive_is_protected_against_flash_viruses_by_R egRun

I have had proablems with changing partition names and wonder if this is the proablem.I have a folder in these partitions called autorun.inf.Inside the folder it has lpt3.Drive_is_protected_against_flash_viruses_by_R egRun .I cannot delete this ecen in safe mode.It says after trying to delete it-Could not find this item.This is no longer located in E:\Verify the files location and try again.Even take ownership and trying to delete will not work.The only thing is I can do is rename the autorun.inf folder to whatever but not the file inside-lpt3.Drive_is_protected_against_flash_viruses_by_R egRun .How the hell do I get rid of this.Formatting the partition would work but I have alot of stuff in there.Anyone have any ideas.

I fixed it by installing RegRun Security Suite Platinum and used remove protection for drives,rebooted and now its gone.I never installed this security suite before, to put this protection on,mabey my nephew tried it on another win 7 partition.All is good now.

Sorry I missed your post. RegRun Reanimator is what I use - on demand only. Disabling autorun protection is pretty easy.

I don't know anything about RegRun Security Suite Platinum but if it's anything like Reanimator I'd say that it would only suit advanced users as it's not exactly east to use.
