i have a working LS 120 Drive and i love and will never give up it reads floppy's and LS 120 Disks fine but when i go to format a LS 120 disk it says it windows cant format this type of disk insert a different disk and try again (the list is unlocked)
is there a driver i have to install to make it work??

I used to do that too then I retired! Actually if I hadn't gotten non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and had to go through chemotherapy my brain might still want to build pc's. I was going to suggest that you try it in another PC on the off chance it gives you the same problem since I don't think Windows 7 does anything but treat an LS 120 as an IDE device which means MS drivers would be all it needed.

You led me to my next thought and that was to try it with a USB enclosure. I don't understand why W7 would not format the disks it's simply a 120Mb IDE disk.......
