Mafia II Application has stopped working.

When i open Mafia II it shows me a error:

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Why did this happen as Mafia II is compatible with 7.
BTW is have 7 SP1.
If the SP1 is the problem can someone tell me how to remove it without any problem.

This may help you... I would take a look at # 6

Something tells me that when you updated to SP1, you let windows update your video and audio drivers and this is never a good idea, you always want to update your drivers manually and directly from the manufacturer. Not, this is not written in stone, this is my opinion and your miles may vary.
