Major System Crash, Unable to Locate Windows 7 disk BUT...

I have proof that it was offered as a free download from my university. Is there any way I can contact Microsoft and see if they would allow me to download Windows 7 again?

As it is, my desktop is completely unable to even get to the desktop, restart into safe mode, etc. It LITERALLY will not even make it past the DELL screen that pops up when I first turn on my computer.

I have been trying for just under 4 hours to fix my computer, but nothing as worked. I've tried to locate my Windows 7 disk but can't!

I was able to install Windows 7 on my laptop, so I was ALSO wondering if there is an official Windows program that will allow me to make an .iso image of this OS so I can burn it and use that to re-install Windows 7 on my desktop?

The basic rule is: 1 machine = 1 license.

As long as you saved the Product Key, you can reinstall Win7 to one machine at a time (only) as often as you want.

Just borrow or download an installer, use the tool to unlock all versions View attachment eicfg_removal_utility.zip , then install your licensed version and activate with the Product Key.

Hi,

First of all if you have a genuine product key you can install the OS as many times as you want on the same machine.

Regarding Installation media you can borrow the media from you friends or you can download the same from the free torrents site's

But be sure to scan the files downloaded from torrents sites as at times they fill the image files with malwares
