Hello!

Until recently, I had no issue using Rustdesk free version to remotely connect from my work computer (Intel Celeron s478, 1.5GB RAM, Windows 7 32-bit) to my home computer (Windows 11). Both are running the latest version, 1.4.6. Since a couple of days ago Rustdesk requires to login first before using the free version of Rustdesk, either with a Rustdesk account (Corporate version or self-hosting server) or a Google, Microsoft or Github account. No problem, this is done once and I used my Google account for the home computer (Windows 11 running the x64 version of Rustdesk). However in the Rustdesk Sciter x86 version the interface is a little different and the option to use a Google, Microsoft or Github account is not available. As you can imagine I cannot create a self-hosting server at work just to use Rustdesk, so my only option is the web interface. I use R3DFOX browser which is a fork of Firefox for Vista and Windows 7, but this is very slow at this very old computer. It took me several minutes just to manage to login with my Google account. I then tried to connect at home and it was stuck at the "Connecting" screen and my home desktop never appeared. Is it possible to copy my login information from the web interface to the standalone application somehow? Any Registry hack to make it registered with my Google account? I tried to post a bug report at Github but it was closed as duplicate without even telling me which post is the duplicate so I can consult it! i found a relevant post, not sure if that was the duplicate and they just said the x86 version doesn't support login using other account, I have to either setup a self-hosting server or use the web interface! So I decided to post here for your kind help.

Thank you in advance

Have you tried W10 x64?

I had an XP machine. Couldn’t run W7/11 x64 because of freezing-up. Hence was running on W7 x86 awhile.
Later it’s found that it could run W10 x86/x64 BETTER than W7. As x64 is more useful these days, I let it stuck with W10 x64. That fixed most issues on old Windows OS.

Now it runs more stable and much less compatibility issues (NVMe, GPT, browser, apps, , ,)

One of the two computers I use at work is an Intel Core 2 Duo which can run Windows 7 and 10 64-bit and even Windows 11 23H2. However, I cannot just format it and install Windows 11. It's not my choice to make. The other computer which I use more frequently is a very old Intel Celeron 2.8GHz socket Intel 478 which is 32-bit, and the maximum Windows version it supports is Windows 7 SP1. Even if I would patch some system file and force install Windows 10 32-bit, I would use the same version of Rustdesk which cannot login using a Google account. As some suggested in Github, I cannot just use the web interface either, as the performance is VERY slow. In the Core 2 Duo it takes some minutes to connect and is too slow to use and in the Celeron machine it gest stuck at the connecting message after I login. Useless. Thankfully I have alternatives such as AnyDesk and VNC which connect much faster.
