But the problem is that I didn't update it to either the version with the problems nor the new patch. I had the older version which I was going off on. If it was to be updated, then it would of prompt the screen and asked if I wanted to update now or later and it wouldn't have scanned at all. I know for sure since when ever I do scans and there's always updates, it would always ask me if I wanted to update.
It doesn't really matter now. What's done is done and I'm not going to use Malwarebytes until this error has been surpassed and there will be a 150% guarantee that this will not happen again. I mean I don't care about losing files because I've always been backing up my files, but it does to others who don't know anything about IT nor do they know anything about the dangers that lurk in the websites they use.
You have to be 100% sure before you release something. I'm not just saying, but I'm a web developer hence why I have MySQL installed, but I mean I'm not ganna sit here and complain, but normally. I'd always triple check what I'm publishing before I publish it. So that users won't have to deal with what I fail to do.
I'm done ranting. If you feel like using Malwarebytes, fine. If you don't fine. I'm just one of those people who don't use it if it's faulty.
