Solved Malwarebytes Anti-Malware as standalone

Is Malwarebytes Anti-Malware powerful enough to be the only security application to keep my system safe? I've got the paid version with live protection though and also got Windows Firewall active. Is this safe enough or should I install additional software?

MBam is not an 'Anti-Virus' program. It is an "Anti-Malware" program, designed to work along side an Anti-virus and firewall
