The original number 1 played since day 1, he quit and plays one of the other games made by jagex, the guys in the tops now, are newer generation, when i played was the originals. Still have my account tho, check it every once in a while.

Yes, the days when Zezima and N0valyfe were at the top, Jagex ruined Runescape by taking out the Wilderness, and putting in the trade limit, makes it impossible to merchant...

I don't play much anymore, so it don't affect me.

Ahh, was quite a while ago, and Jagex has new owners that have killed Runescape, which has made me stop paying for memship.

The new owners i think too out the wilderness and implemented PVP (really really crap drops, items aren't even your opponents) and the trade limit. Argggg.

Oh yes! despite the massive loss in players, they continue to add updates to the new "RS2" which is a catastrophic fail of a game, graphics is better i must say, but game-play has been lost.

I have been reading and it was apparently changed to stop real world trading of items and currency...

I know it is to prevent the economy of the game from being easy...but damn Jagex has went to absolute extremes to prevent this activity

No PVP in the Wild
No control of trades (no ability to be a merchant anymore...due to whiny players that didn't read up on item values)
PVP worlds and their drops are determined by the game...not what your opponent wears (like it used to)

They just made the Wild dangerous...

Arghhh, it's ridiculous but people who Real World Traded ruined the merchanting for the rest of us...

If there isn't already a group, i might start one up, Runescape Players. or whatever cool name for it comes up.
