many BSOD's when on the web, ntoskrnl.exe, SYMEFA64.SYS, and ntfs.sys

I have had 6 bsod's when on the net either on espn.com, youtube.com, or just playing a flashgames. It has always happened at night, when the computer sounds like it is doing a background scan on my computer, but I am not sure if it actually is.

I have ran the memtest86+ and it went through 12 tests without failing.

Pretty simple. you even mention it in the title of the thread. Your problem is being caused by Symantec, Specifically SYMEFA64.SYS

I would remove and replace it with Microsoft Security essentials

Thanks for the speedy reply. I have uninstalled Norton 360 and installed Windows Security Essentials. Hopefully I wont post again about BSOD's.
