MAX PAYNE 1 on Windows 7 32bit Laptop

Okay! I need someones help! As you can see, I have a laptop with a Windows 7 Home 32bit OS. I am wondering, if I download Max Payne 1 (I know it is an "old" game because it was released down in 2001 and before Windows 7 came in) will it work with the said system specifications. Will Max Payne 1 work in my laptop with a Windows 7 Home Premium and a 32bit OS???? I need your help everybody ASAP! tnx tnx tnx

It will most likely work. I've been using the 64 bit rendition of Windows 7 Ultimate for over a year now. I've had only one instance that an application did not work. It was a flashing tool for Maemo, for the Nokia N900, Linux based smartphone. I've tried playing old games such as Grand Prix 4 on my system and it worked great. In case it doesn't work, there's always the compatibility mode. Link Let me know how it goes.

It will work to an extent, but you will most likely have a problem with the sound due to incompatibility. It happened to me. There is a patch that can fix this though if you just do a quick Google search for it, and once that's done then the game works great on it.

I didn't know there was a patch for bad sound for that game
