Hi:

Unfortunately, there's not much we can do to help you here, and the QA team/devs likely do not monitor this board.
It may be one of the known issues.

I suggest that you might want to follow the advice for a clean reinstall HERE.
NOTE: be sure to have your license info handy before you start and to reboot when prompted (important!).
Reboot again after reinstalling version 3 (important).
The removal tool was not yet updated for the unique architecture of version 3, but it still ought to work.

If that does not work, then I suggest reporting the problem at their forum.
That is the only way their product team will know about it and can fix it.

Thanks,
MM

thanks MoxieMomma.
i tried it as well ->the issue persist.
after some reading i found that mbamext.dll
shell extension, responsible for it . it can be edited with hex-editor but doing so will loose its signature most probably...
i wrote allready to mbam support about it .

Hi:

Well, if a clean reinstall does not fix it, then it's probably a bug.
As you mention, it seems it was already reported.
The more folks who report it, the higher it will be on the priority list for a fix (maybe).

They are already working on the next build of MB3 to fix other problems, according to the company CEO.

Yes, the Trial version is for 14 days. That is not new. If all goes as planned, the Trial *ought to* cleanly revert to the Free version after 14 days, if the product has not been activated during that time with a paid license. But I'm not sure that has anything to do with this bug, however?

Cheers,
MM
