How do I rebuild the MBR on just one of my HHD's

This is what it has to say in Disk Management ( You must initialize a disk before Logical Disk Manager can access it.) This disk was working just fine the day before.
Than it states to use the following partition style for the selected disks: MBR or GPT. When I do this is what pops up. (The device is not ready).

When I click on Properties, is states (This device is working properly) , This is a 1.5 TB WD, green drive. My first green drive. Not a happy camper. The drive is about 6 Mo. old.

Any help would be welcome. I'm running out of hair.

What you are seeing is the New Volume wizard appear with MBR seen as default. You don't want to select the GPT option for general use.

The images attached here are from a recent guide showing how it works with a raw drive as far as the format option which you won't be needing. Once you move onto assigning a drive letter the drive will be fully initialized and appear in the new Windows Explorer or Computer window you open.

What's on the disk operating system or just data?
If you've got data on the disk I would be hesitant to select the format disk button. You may need to search around for a file recovery program.

You would slip over the format option simply seeing a drive assigned. When going back into the DM later you wouldn't need to go through the wizard for simply changing that to another preferred letter. At present you simply need to see the drive made available for use.

Those were quick images of the New Simple Volume wizard you would typically see when first seeing a new drive or raw drive added onto any system. Or if you recently wiped a secondary drive and went into the DM to add a new partition there the wizard would appear when you right click on the drive itself.

Note the small square block on the left side shows if the drive is online or offline. If found offline you right click on that to select the online option which initializes the drive. That is typcai for a new drive being added on without any partitions present however. When you have an existing partition you simply right click to see a drive letter assigned which then initlalizes the drive in the process making it available.

The next image attached here is seen when you have a raw drive lacking any partition and see the GUID screen appear for selecting mbr or GPT. Notice that mbr is default. You simply click the next button and move on with or without any partition present unless you are planning some very extended partitions numbering upto 128!

The GUID Partition Table or GPT is something supported in Windows Server 2008 and upcoming versions mainly for server application not recommended for desktop use. The information on that can be seen at GUID partition table
