Windows 7 Build 7068, Seemed to be all working good, and I was hopeful that this would be the one the fix my issue, until I found that I’m still having issues with MCE.

Phenom II X4 940 BE, 4Gb DD2 800 Mhz , Asus M3A79-T Delux, ATI HD 4650, x2 160Gb Sata HD, Tuner cards Hauppauge HVR 1600 and ATI Theater Pro 550.

I have Installed the AllowQam_PowerToy Dword=1 and ATSC = 1 Fix. For the Hauppauge card which enabled the tuner card in previous build of windows (7000). Using the 4.6a+ Drivers even tried the 4.8 Beta Drivers.

I can’t get the Clear QAM to work for the Canada region or the ATSC. Which was working in previous build 7000? Build 7048 wouldn’t even get past the regions choice in the set up without crashing.
But I can still chose united state and the clear QAM is found and is enabled fine just that I have to manually add all the channels which would be fine if I could somehow get the guide to download for my area.

The second problem is every time something is recording and I try watching some things else the recording gets corrupt or sometimes Crashes the PC to a restart, and even though the recording is corrupt it still tries to finish recording until it is done.
If I try to record a single show and let it be or watch it without changing channels it records fine.

Anyone have any Ideas, info or fixes that they could point me too. Or maybe some registry hacks for the guide to download for Canada in my region even though it would be set to US to enable the Clear QAM.

Any Help would be appreciated. Thanks in Advance 8D.

i think this is a common problem with canada region from what i've seen on other forums. on another forum we got microsoft to work with hauppauge and quickly release a new driver on april 1 (no not a fools joke) to fix several issues we reported on the 2250. it did fix most of the reported issues. you could try it since the two cards use the same driver package.
