Hi DS - really liking MB FireStorm since installing it.

I have a question though.

I have always used the DIAMOND theme, and on the previous version when I have multiple seasons of TV shows, I got the option of selecting which season by selecting the relevant SEASON poster, but now in MBFS, I only get a list of seasons with the episode titles listed as well.

This also happens for my movie boxsets as well.

Is there an option I haven't amended since installing MBFS, or has this option been removed now ??

I hope you understand what I mean ??

After uninstalling 2.2.1.0 i cannot install any version now.
The error is the same for 2.1.1 & 2.2.1.0;

Not really as I'd have to re-install the previous version, take a screenshot, hen re-install MBFS and take another screenshot.

It didn't look like MBFS retained the settings previously used, so there may be something I need to set.

I'll try and explain again (!!).

For a movie boxset, or a TV season, on the main list (after selecting either TV or MOVIES), I highlight the boxset or the season, and the middle column shows what is conatined in the boxset/season. Then I have to go into the boxset/season and select the video file.

Previously (for TV seasons), I would get the TV show listed, then on selection I would go into a sub-folder that showed the folder.jpg for each season, from which I could then select one, and then I would get a list of the contents.

I have attached pictures as it is now.

I never used to get the 2nd scene, just seperate folder.jpgs to select and then into the last scene.

Does this make sense ??

lol, I'm still not 100% on what your tiring to say. But lets pretend I do. What view are you using? Do you have Show Details Page turned on?

Have you played with all of the views to see if you can find the look you are wanting?

I'm really sorry I cant make out what your getting at. I don't use Diamond so I just don't get the references to what it did or doesn't do.

Do you have UAC enabled? Are you using a Foreign Windows? Have you set up the multiple entry points with MCS?

I've seen this issue once before in the forum, and it was some kind of reg key that got left behind when uninstalling.
I truly don't remember what key it was, but I'm sure if you go over to the MB forum, one of the guys there will know right off what it is and how to fix it.

If you didn't know if you set up multiple entry points, You Didn't. It's something you would have remembered.

It was MB keys left here;
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Extensibility\Entry Points

I just deleted any MB looking keys and it installed perfect, no reboot required

Sorted it - needed to change the view to POSTER view when going into the seasons.

See the attached screenshot.

Don't get a background though !!

Also, this doesn't seem to hold for movie boxsets

The background has been turn off in Diamond's poster View. Not sure why but it was made that way.

Not as I thought - perhaps I need to redo them, and follow the correct steps !!

I just set them up like TV seasons.

I've not set mine up the same way as your thread suggests, as I do not want another option on the menu in MB, but I want them included in the list of movies.

That means coming out of my Movies list, and then go into BoxSets

Not what I wanted, hence my "TV Season" approach.

It's not a major issue, so will live with it for now.
