I just source the pics from the usual sources e.g. Google image search, if no joy there then the program web site instead. If all fails I just make one like I did for Prison Break (just merged two pics).

I don't mind one bit people using and expanding on anything I do, I take it more as a compliment than stealing my thunder.

I have fixed the probs you have had and I have most the backdrops ready so I will upload as a zip and you can use if you would like.

Sorry about the amount of time it took to get back to you on this, I was to busy celebrating Englands win (though it was a poor game!)

The other set that was crashing my photoshop were for boxsets, I had/have an idea that involved creating the actual boxset with a few dvd's scattered around all with the official artwork. Still looking at how i can put that together!

MCE Remote Buttons Working

Some remote buttons (play, pause, stop, skip, replay, ff, rew, back, vol & mute) no longer function, the rest work fine (ch, green button, numbers, etc.)

Check to see if your "Human Interface Device Access" service is running.

I can confirm, having that service set to Manual or Disabled is INDEED what's causing the problem! I was having the same problem on my computer, so I set that service to automatic and started it and voila! the problem was gone.

All Fixed if anyone else has the problem.

Update 6.8.2009
1) Added TV profile with samsung.png that creates a foler.png from your backdrop instead of folder.jpg Use tv:samsung.png
2) Added ability to skip a folder if a folder.dna is present. To create just right click and choose new text file and rename to folder.dna
3) Added FeLiX's Quicktime covers

Had to stick with the transformer's theme

Just to give all a good idea of how cool the tv can be with the correct backdrop inserted!

tv%20keeper.jpg
tv%20keeper2.jpg
tv%20keeper3.jpg

I sat down a found the best screen filler that would represent the show and added it to each folder then changed the name of my current backdrop (BAK) and renamed the filler backdrop then ran stark then went back and restored the original backdrop so when I browse I see two different backdrops.

I asked Tyborg to add it so if there is a backdrop (2).jpg present in the folder stark will use it as default insert so it will be easier to do what I did.
So that will be in the next release.

It's pretty good but the screen reflection needs to be more subtle.

Your right and he is going to fix that as well.

Its easier for me to just tell you to go check out his thread. The link is all over this cover page.
But the fast version is you need to edit the batch file that is in the folder and add your movies path and the style you want to have. Examples of what works are in the batch file.

If you still need help after you see his thread I will be glad to assist.

If you want you can grab all of the Icons I have made for the TV Shows

Download

I tend to go for .avi

Best option to use is 'xvid' for standard definition DVD and TV shows conversion using MP3 audio.

DVD Films - Good file size to aim for is 750mb to 1400mb
TV Shows - Roughly 350mb

For HD e.g. Blu Ray, x264 is the way forward. Personally not done this yet so can't quote decent size but at a guess 4gb for 720p & 8gb for 1080p using AC3 audio

Hope this helps!

FairUse Wizard is a brilliant bit of kit for converting, most of the converting is automated, you can even set batches going over night.

Heres a few pics of it in action

Where did you get the TV image for Planet Earth? I ran the program and made the images for everything, but for some reason it won't work on Planet Earth. I didn't find it in you post of the ones you created. Can you please point me the to where I can download that image, thanks.
