Solved Memory RAM advice

Give me an hour or so, I'm just about to knock off work so I'll take a look when I get home.

The latest dump is a 0x18 which I've peronally never experienced before. It relates to objects and handles and unfortunately with it being a minidump the commands I'm using don't work, a Kernel dump would have to be available. I'm starting to think that at least one driver may be at fault here, but we need to get the MemTest86+ done first to rule that out as an issue, maybe then we can look at running Driver Verifier to weed out any problematic drivers if needed.

Please follow the instructions below to the letter, do not do anything other than the steps outlined below. It's pointless us trying to help if you keep doing things you haven't been asked to do.

 RAM INSTALLATION

Install your two new sticks of RAM in the two blue slots nearest the CPU, leave out the older RAM.
Capture 2.PNG

Capture.PNG
Once the RAM is installed in this configuration run MemTest86+ exactly as outlined below.

 MemTest86+

Download and run MemTest86+ to test your RAM. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html

   Note
picture.php

Run MemTest86+ for at least 8 passes. Ideally set it off before you go to bed and leave it overnight, we're looking for zero errors here. A single error will show something's going bad with your RAM.

Report back when all of this is completed with the results. If you have any questions before starting memTest86+ running feel free to ask.

Hey, where are you at with this now, what`s going on ?

Just so I`m clear, you now have 2 4GB Mushkin PC3-12000 sticks on the motherboard equalling 8 GB, correct ?

Please fill in the memory section of your specs a lttle bit better. ( Amount, Brand, Series, Timings and Speed, Number of sticks, etc. )

I don't know the merit behind 6-8 passes to be honest. I always heard it like that.

Does it state which stick has failed? You'd probably need to take a photo of teh screen, I don't believe MemTest86+ screenshots can be saved to carry over to Windows. Upload it with your next post. The next step will be to figure out if it's the RAM or the DIMM slot that is faulty.

Your CPU temperature should be fine at 60°C, just keep an eye on it to see if it rises above that. You can ende MemTest86+ when you've taken the screenshot, if it's picked up an error it's done its job.

So one error is enough for me to terminate the process? I thought the more passes it goes through the more errors it'll spot.
So you think its ok for me to end it? or leave it furthermore till 7-8 passes?

Yes Ill take a photo of it.

Yes you can end it, it doesn't matter how many errors there are, one alone is enough to know there is a problem. You'll need to test each stick individually now to find out whether it's the RAM itself or one of the DIMM slots. Test each stick in each DIMM slot (four tests in all) and use the tables below to determine which component is at fault.

If the output is like this then you have bad RAM so the stick(s) need replacing.

Test|Slot 1|Slot 2
RAM 1| Error | Error
RAM 2|Good|Good

If the output is like this then you should replace the motherboard, however you can leave that DIMM slot empty although it's not advised to use a system with a faulty motherboard.

Test|Slot 1|Slot 2
RAM 1| Error |Good
RAM 2| Error |Good
