Merging two unallocated spaces?

Hi, I hope I'm in the right section.

This is what my current HDD looks like

NTFS (C 242.4GB
Unallocated 20MB
Ex3 9.943GB
Linux Swap 494.2MB
Unallocated 14.06.GB

I want to merge those two unallocated spaces and create a new partition but I can't find a way to merge them.
I think I have to somehow move the linux partition before merging but not really sure.

You simply can't do what you want to do -- merge spaces with one more partitions between them. No tool will do this. Period.

You will have to do the following:
1) Move the Linux partitions to the right to shift the unallocated space to the left
2) Shrink the Extended partition to just use the allocated space
3) Expand the NTFS partition to fill the unallocated space, or allocate a new partition for that same space.

Don't know what tools you're planning on using to do this, but if you're going to expand the NTFS partition, do NOT use GParted; instead, use the Win7 Disk Management utility.

I was able to create a new partition after merging them successfully with Gparted live CD (it locks the partition on Ubuntu so I had to burn a live cd)
