Hello everybody.
Please I need your help! I saw there are some expert "guru" here for Macrium...and I'm hoping
to get your advices...(if you are going to understand my "horrible" english....)
So, I had 2 different images (from 2 laptops), made from Windows 7 Imaging Utility.
The images was in an external usb hard disk (hdd).
The partitions in the external disk was not like i wanted, so i back up them (i made two images of the images), with Macrium Reflect.
Now, (the images from the images) are in the local(host) hard disk(hdd). I did so for to be free
to work on the external disk.
After i format and partition the external hdd as i wanted.
Now i want to restore every image in the new partitions i made.
When i tried, Macrium Reflect change the partitions (in external disk) as they where in the beginnig,
when i backup them.
So i did all this job for nothing. My question is, if somebody knows.
Is it possible to do what i want? I mean to bring them back in a different size partitions?
I have the free version of Reflect. Or maybe another program can do it?
Is there another program which can manage images made from Macrium? (of course if you think that i need it)
(Please tell me step by step what i have to do)
I hope you understood that i don't want to restore windows in the two laptops now, just i want to have the images "ready" that Windows 7 Imaging Utility can use them when i need it in future.
Thank you so much for any help and for your time.

Thank you so much kado897 for quick reply. I am going to read the instructions. A last question before i do.
I made the Rescue Media already in a usb that Macrium is suggesting (not the linux one) the WAIK download etc.
Without to put in any drivers (just simply what macrium made). Is there another fuctionality I miss and
i have to follow your way or both are the same?

You are fine with the USB rescue media you already made, in fact maybe better as creating the WinPE on your machine means you have the right drivers.
