Metro 2033 Does not go on fullscreen

I've been surfing in the web for a couple hours now and I've come across this thread.

After he solved it he said "I put a fullstop after r_fullscreen on.".
what is the fullstop?? I don't get what he means with "fullstop"

Hi Acrobit, Welcome to 7 forums. On the link you posted it does look like he means just one fullstop after r_fullscreen on.

Yes! Fixed it!
I fixed it myself though, deleting the correct data files and reinstalling it didn't work, but after turning on fullscreen in the user.cfg it worked. Just in case anyone looks at this thread about the same issue, I put a fullstop after r_fullscreen on.
