I dropped my phone and the micro SD, 64GB, seems to be bad. I found my old 32GB and inserted in my phone. Well, there were left over data from the previous phone of 5GB which I didn't need. I deleted the files by using the windows explorer connected via phone and via usb adapter. I inserted back in the phone and I still see the files. I formatted the disk and it completes it but I still see the files. I realize I can't write to it and have been trying to find a fix.

I tried all types of formatting through windows.

I tried downloading sdformattter.
I tried diskpart. It formats to 100% but it says that Diskpart has encountered an error: The parameter is incorrect. See the System Even Log for more information (which I don't know where this log is located).

I really would like to resolve this if I can.

Hi there,
I would suggest checking the physical memory card for the read/write switch and putting it to the write/unlocked position and try re-formatting the SD card with the actual phone or the phones manager program on your computer as it usually has to be formatted in a specific format and folder setup. - If you choose to format the 32gb sd card with your phone please be careful to format the sd card and not your phones internal memory

Also are the files being properly deleted and then coming back or can you not delete anything off of it?
