Solved Microphone low volume can't find pre-amp check

Hi everybody,
I have a dell inspiron 1525 whith sigmatel stac9228X audio. I've installed the latest driver i've found for win 7, but when i connect the microphone, i can see it but in the option i can't find the pre-amp option. I think that is the reason why i heard the microphone very very low. I have to scream for hear it. Last year i have had the same problem and i remember that with a program, that i forget the name, i have resolved. The program was similar at realtek audio manager, but I forget the name. Does anyone know a program or a solution for my problem? Please answer me ASAP because I'm in england now and I can't speak with my parets in Italy with skype.

Generally the Dell supplied sound driver is the best one to use. Are you using the Dell driver or a non-Dell driver?

If you are not using the Dell driver, suggest you install that. Dell only supports Vista 32 bit on this model but that's OK as the Vista 32 bit driver will work with Windows 7 32 bit.

This driver work correctly. The previous version was not right even if the system doesn't alert me. Really thank you for resolve my problem.
