hi all.
Im recently having problems with my microphone making a lovely static/ buzzing sound. I use ventrilo and was alerted to it by some angry guildmates, and when i made it so I can hear my own microphone I can hear it myself.
I have updated to the latest VIA audio drivers from Asus and have tried removing them/using windows defaults and Im still having the same problems. Ie im sure its a hardware issue.
I have tried a different microphone, and I have tried both microphones in both the front/back ports but Im still getting it.
I heard updating my chipset could fix this but this hasnt worked either and Im getting slowly more and more frustrated with this. Someone did suggest to me its a grounding loop issue but I really dont have the foggiest what this is or what to do about it.
thanks in advance, prza
