Microsoft Download Nightmares

I just read that Microsoft has 1,500,000 employees worldwide.
Stastically 50 % are OK and 50% are useless idiots.
I seem to have downloaded some stuff posted by
the latter and what a mess that makes of your PC.
I have had to block all downloads from Microsoft to preserve my fragile sanity.

My guess is it was the "I am from Microsoft" fake phone call. Which, if you fall for it, results in your PC being infected with the very same male ware, they claim to be removing from your system.

Oh so he received a phone call from someone claiming to be from M$? I agree. Microsoft doesn't call you but they wait for you to call them.

Microsoft would never call you. They will WAIT for your call.

Microsoft would never let you download stuff, Unless you asked for help at their forums.

The first post is pretty vague, so we'll just have to wait for more info on what really happened. And yes, Microsoft will never call you. Not unless you called them first. Even then, they prefer online chat etc over phone calls.

Im new to sevenforums

I recently had sound problems after clean install of windows 7 professional 64 bit, I personally resolved the problem and would like to share how but am new to SevenForums and cannot find any one whom is today experiencing the same problem am I to assume this problem as now been resolved by all windows 7 professional 64 bit users?

You could start a thread in the sound section of this forum, detailing the problem and how you resolved it.

Members might find it useful and anyone pounding on Google for a similar sound issue would likely kick up your thread and it would be useful to them---member here or not.

For the record, just to say, if Microsoft calls you, then you need to Call Guinness Book of World Records, because it would be the first.

I've worked with Microsoft technicians. To even get the time of day from them you have to call them and have a ticket created. Only then will they work with you or perform any sort of contact.

Maybe get some laxative pills to clear your heads.

Disrespectful posts like yours don't help the forums reputation by the way? You make an accusation and don't back it up with any facts. You left us wondering what actually happened? I have no idea where you got the "aggressive" part from? Nobody has been disrespectful to you, not as far as I can see, so I have no idea where you attitude is coming from. Unless the whole point of your post was to just stir things up?
