Microsoft Office 2013 not displaying very well

I have Microsoft Office 2013 I think I have deleted something I shouldn't have as Microsoft Office 2013 is not displaying very well all the things you click on to are missing. What have done wrong or deleted and do I get it back or restore?

Hi Darksky40, welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

You could try a System Restore to go back to a point before you deleted whatever it was that caused the current problem.

You could try an Office Repair. To do that open Control Panel, select Programs & Features, then scroll down to Microsoft Office, right click on it & select Change & this will provide a couple of Repair options.

If none of the above work you will have to reinstall Office.

Thank you for the message and I have done a system restore but that hasn't worked I did a System Restore with my other problem with Internet Explorer which I have lost. Where do I find Office repair is it on the Microsoft Office 2013? I did download Microsoft Office 2013 online.Thanks for message.

Thanks for getting back. I did explain how to do an Office 2013 repair, but I will copy it in again for you.

If this does not work you may have to do a reinstall. You should be able to download Office again as long as you have the activation code ready as it will probably ask you for the code before you can get access to the download site.

I will try what you suggested and can I download from the website I got it from with out paying again? Also I have just got a printer the window which comes up once the disc has run but is not displaying words and information just a blank screen but also say right up the top not responding is this missing words connected? So far I have reinstalled microsoft office 2013 and first I followed what you to click on to. Also I have done a picture sorry it's not perfect but it's of Outlook email the grey section all down the left-hand side should be a a list of things to click onto Outlook email list and up across the top should be more things to click on but they are not visible they are there and when I did install Microsoft Office I could see no wording just a couple of boxes to click on too. It's the wording and list to click on to for email list should be on the grey section. Here is the example on the picture the grey section should have a list of things to click on too but cannot see them.

It does look like you are still suffering from the original not displaying properly problem. Is this the case?.

Are you having problems displaying other programs apart from Office?.

Yes that is correct Word and the other office and the printer window with instructions for installing the printer it is a blank screen but it also saying Not Responding.It is there but not displaying.

Thanks for getting back. It could be a hardware problem. How old is your computer.

From what you are saying you seem to be having problems with all your programs, apart from your Office programs.

Could you update your System Specs. This website explains how to do that.

Thanks for reply and I got the Netbook 2014 through Amazon secondhand its a Samsung N-145 netbook and I will the Systems Specs. I have also just downloaded Microsoft Office Configuration Analyzer Tool (OffCAT) 2.0 what do I do with that? It was something I deleted which I shouldn't have. I will the System specs shortly.

Have you tried to do a System Restore. To do that open Control Panel, select Recovery & follow though to see if have a Restore Point that is before you made the changes.

I have also downloaded MS Office Configuration Tool (OffCat 2.0) & tried it, although I did not have any problems to start with. I think it is probably more suited to company office use where they are using multiple computers connected via a main server. Anyway if you do decide to try it, run it & select one of the programs to analyse & it will give you a list of possible problems & some solutions, but a lot of them say to contact your system administrator, which in a single users case is yourself, so I found that not really very helpful.

I have tried to do a System restore and I will try again and so far I have installed Microsoft Office Configuration Analyzer Tool (OFFCAT) also downloaded System Info and got information to do with the System and what System Administration Samsung? I will try System Restore again.

System Info is to find out all the info on your system so yo can fill in the "My System Specs" that is shown on the left hand bottom corner of each of your posts. See screen shot.

To fill in Your System Specs open User CP located at the top of a Windows Seven Forums page & then under Your Profile you will see System Specs & fill in your details that are shown on your downloaded System Info report.

I have click on My Systems Specs and have update the info but what does OS Microsoft Windows 7 Starter 32-bit 7601 Multiprocessor Fre which slot do I fill that in? Where do I find Monitor displays information being Netbook the Keyboard and monitor joined on and also where do I find Internet Speed information and where do I find the Cooling, Keyboard , browser information and Case and PSU information so I can fill in the blank spaces on My System Spec spaces? Then what next?

Your System Specs are adequate as they are, as you are using a laptop, the most important part is the make & model. As far as Windows 7 Starter is concerned you can just add that in with your Windows 7 32 bit that you have listed just below your Join Date.

If your internet speed is OK don't worry about checking speed. Case, PSU, Keyboard & Cooling info are only important if it is a desktop.

You have mentioned that your Samsung computer is 5 years old, you are using Windows 7 Starter, only have 1gb of RAM & you are using Office, so you are really running right on the edge of the computers limit. Keeping it's age in mind as well you may just have reached the end of it's useful life.
Are you in a position to be able to replace it with a new one?.

I got the Samsung N-145 Netbook last year and already had a Microsoft Office the early version and it had Windows mail which has now changed and have replaced it with Microsoft Office 2013. So you say the computer has come to its limited? I am able to get another one and as it is 7 Starter am I not able that to Window 7 or an upgrade?

From what you have said, you bought the Samsung second hand. If it came with Windows 7 Starter you probably don't have an installation disc for Windows 7.
Did you purchase Office 2013 yourself. If you did you should have an installation disc or if you downloaded it from Microsoft you should have an Activation code.
Visit some computer stores in your area & see what the have available in good second hand computers that have Windows 7 installed & that they have a Windows 7 installation disc. You may still be able to get a new one with Windows 7 on it. You will have to check that out. Windows 7 Starter is the basic version, so look for Home Premium or better.
Avoid buying one on Ebay as you never know what you are likely to get & a lot come with pirated Windows 7 on them.

I got the Microsoft Office 2013 downloaded myself and replaced the previous Microsoft Office. I am considering another the netbook and the idea is for the Netbook was for me use when travelling and out and about and use other System's like my Mum's laptop or desktop as they more space to store. I will find out from the website I downloaded it from the Activation Key. It is not just the Microsoft Office 2013 it's the printer installing instructions it's also the Help and Support I can't get displayed. I am going to have a think I may get another Netbook.

That sounds like the best solution. You should have received an activation key with your copy of Office 2013, so you need to chase that up.
Just make sure that your new Netbook will run Windows 7 & all your Office applications etc. before you actually buy it.
