Microsoft Remote Desktop

I want to set up my PC for remote access from my IPAD using the Microsoft RD app on my IPAD. I am running the home version of Win 7. Will Windows 7 Home Premium support that app? The examples I see on the Internet have Windows 10.

My system does support remote assistance which Microsoft has used. Also if there is a good example on the internet for setting up Microsoft RD on PC and IPad please list.

Teamviewer is newer better and free works with ipad

Home editions of Windows do support Remote Desktop as a server. You need Professional or above to do that. Remote Assistance is not Remote Desktop.

Yes, I know that Remote Assistance is not Remote Desktop, but I was hoping that supporting Remote Assistance portended that Remote Desktop is supported. What I took away from your reply is that I would have to upgrade to Home Professional.
