Microsoft Security Essentials 4 Now Available to Download

So far I haven't seen a difference, but I'm pretty sure the colours are slightly different...

I think the detection is better.I tried to download malware in a Vista VM and Microsoft Security Essentials 4 and Smart Screen Filter were taking care of everything. MSE 4 was doing most of the work. In past experiences, Security Essentials didn't have as good of detection capabilities for me. They weren't terrible, but it made me kind-of nervous. This new version is really good, though.

Sure this one have to stick Windows 8 Metro style UI....:)
(though, i'm still not testing consumer preview...)

Installed two days ago from WU, 12mb weight...went fine!
