Hi !
Old Problem with Winamp Modern skins. Winamp forum says my problem is Microsoft, not theirs.
Here's the problem: I can't have several Modern skins one after the other , otherwise I get this error (Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library). Winamp crashes, I've to reboot and start from scratch.
The only solution I've found is to use a Modern skin, then minimize it, use a Classic skin even if for a second, minimize it, and use another Modern skin.
This goes for all the cPro skins, the old free-form skins (such as Invicta, Woo-Hoo FER, etc..., not with the .wal skins that have the rectangular shape of a Classic skin.
I may be at the wrong address, but this problem has lasted for years, on any of my 3 laptops, and with any browser (IE11, Chrome, Firefox).
Please help or tell me where to find advice.

Thanks for contacting me.
One laptop is a Sony Vaio Intel Core I3 and it just says "ATI Radeon Premium Graphics"
The second one is an ACER Intel Core I7 and the graphic card says: "ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6850 Graphics 1 GB"
I have loaned the 3rd. one to a friend, and can't find the book that went with it, so can't answer.

Hi,
I'm not a graphic's card expert but I do know a 1 gig card isn't much and most themes soak it up pretty fast and the ram amount means little to graphic's cards limitations,

I am not speaking of Winamp "whole themes", but simply of skins ! Any of my graphic card is powerful enough to run Winamp skins, particularly Modern skins which use less CPU.
I can tell you aren't an expert. Unfortunately, I am not either. But anyway, who says it's a graphics card problem ??
As your response is the only one I got, I assume my problem isn't close to beeing solved !
