MicroSoft Visual Studio 2008 Issues

Hi there, I seem to be having issues with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Pro, C# Express and VS2008 Express and I desperatly need it installed for school ! Lets face it, Notepad++ with C# syntax highlighting is nothing compared to VS

Ok, So I was able to DownLoad the file from DreamSpark(Student Thing) as an ISO(Ok no big deal, copied to a CD and installed)

Once I had the software installed I tried to create a project (For an assignment) and it gave me the error
"Registry access is not allowed"

I have tried repeatedly tried googling the issue and other stuff but well no joy.

Additional Information;
Googled Repeatedly
Started as Admin
Made .bat and .cmd files as requested in tutorials

Some System Information;
Operating System:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
Motherboard
Dell Inc. 0T568R
CPU
Intel Core i5 650

If you require anymore information please reply as I desperatly need this problem solved but have not been able to find a solution.
