Newegg has Microsoft Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit - OEM on sale and I need to know can I use this to upgrage my Windows Vista Home Premium on my Mac running Parallels or is it strickly only to be used building a new PC.

You could use it - but it would have to be a clean install, and you may run into problems with it if you change machines - it's limited to use on the first motherboard on which it is activated.

Far better to use Retail licenses for such purposes.

Thanks thats what I needed to know I just ordered an upgrade version with both 32 & 64 bit disks even though it was twice as much that an OEM version.
