MINI ITX Build VERY Strange problems

Hi. My freinds build has now suceeded from nothing to atleast something -.-
So we got the AMD 6800K cpu today put it in started the computer SUCESS! We saw picture. I went into bios to see if everything was right, The cpu was at 44c so i put the fan speed from 0.75% fan speed per C
We restarted the computer and it said the usual please put in a boot drive.
And then everything went to ****
I took out the drive, Put it into my computer to use the Corsair Cloning kit he got becouse he wants to get everything from his old drive to the new one.
I formated the Drive and made it usable but the corsair software wasent recognizing the harddrive we wanted to clone... Well.. That sucks -.-
We started the computer with the old drive instead to try to get into that drives windows 7
No picture and the keyboard didnt light up.. We took out the Drive and booted it without any drive, Nothing..
we put in the new drive, Nothing.
We cleared the C-Mos, Nothing..
What am i going to do!?!?
It freaking worked for 5 minutes!

yes its correct. every degree c hotter the cpu gets it wil increase fan speed by 0.75%

Just a suggestion.
Put the fans on 100% all the time. Then do all the tweaking you intend to do to your system. Then tweak the fans for cooling and noise level desired.
This method will help you keep out of the (Damn it runs to hot) zone.

Only problem here is that it worked fine. It asked me to put in a bootable drive and we restarted the computer to do check the bios and nothing showed up on the monitor and the keyboard didnt light up as it did before...I only changed the Cpu fan controller to 1% per c instead of the stock 0.75% per c and when it didnt work anymore i did i bios reset but it still wont give any video signals

Are you sure the new cpu is a match for the motherboard??
You could try putting the old cpu back in and see how things work.
Could you give us more information about your friends computer.

You state in post #1 that you formatted the hard drive.
You should still be able to get into the bios without a operating system.
Not seeing your bios page might be a choice of hooking your video cable into your motherboard instead of the video card.
These are somewhat a guess on my part because of lack of information the the troubled computer.
Hang in there. Others will be by with more suggestions.

i have tryed every video out that i could possibly use.
Yes i know i should get into the bios easily.
The "old" Cpu was a FM2+ cpu that needed a bios update to work and to do so you needed a FM2 A series cpu.
The " New" cpu is an FM2 6800K compared to the "old" 7700K

I'm not a AMD person but the best I can find is one cpu is socket FM2 and the other is a FM2+
We need a AMD person. I have asked for some help.
What motherboard do you have?

Can you remove your video card and see if the pc will boot off of the motherboard built in video.

Already tryed it multiple times and still no luck

Did you try what I suggested before? Put the old cpu back in.
Also start from basic again and check all connection again; including the cpu power connection.
Did you update the motherboard bios?

I do not believe that changing the temp settings caused this problem.

The old cpu thing is completely useless to do becouse its a cpu that WONT work unless you update the bios. Wich i cant do becouse i need to do it with a cpu like the one we have now..
And yes the Bios thing i did should not have anything to do with this.
I checked the power connections multiple times
No i didnt even have a chance to update the bios.
I havent tryed to build it up from scratch again..

Sisrace I notice from your specs you are running 8.1?? So just what are you trying to get going in the machine? Maybe worth a post in the 8 form mate to see if anyone else has had a similar problem.

I suppose you have tried (cos I haven't had time to read completely) a safe mode star and run SFC and chkdsk.

I may even be the drive mate.

Well Layback you have taken the words out of my mouth now because I was wondering just that when I posted what I did as I did get to wondering which CPU was on what board and if this was perhaps a glitch with the Windows 8.1 as I get the impression this machine isn't getting 7 installed on it and why I thought maybe it would be better off posted in the 8 forum.

No need for being rude.

If you eliminate the impossible whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.
Therefore I believe you installed the "new" CPU improperly somehow, or bent the pins. You said you didn't restart from scratch, I think it's time you did, carefully examining the CPU pins, reattaching all the power connectors, RAM, GPU, etc. The CPU should fall into its socket with no pressure at all.

The 6800K should work with any BIOS for the board, see snip.

Look I could be way off course here but going through the compatibility ofthat CPU I cannot find a board that comes close to the one in the specs for Sisrace's system
