Missing Dell Studio 1535 drivers

Hi all

Its been about 2 week since I installed Windows 7.
I love the new OS but I am still missing some drivers!!!
I tried to contact Dell, and this was their answer:
"You need to download the Windows 7 drivers"
Like I dont know...
But there are still no Windows 7 drivers on the Studio 1535 driver download page.
This is the information Windows gives me:

Name: A base system device
Developer: unknown
Location: PCI-bus 3, device 1, function 3

Name: Unknow device
Developer: unknowm
Location: on Intel(R) ICH8M LPC Interface Controller - 2815

I read something about Ricoh drivers or something like that, but I cannot find any solution... One of the missing drivers listed above is for the remote control (i think)
Because it doesnt respond to any button I push on it
Could somebody please help me!!

(is it possible that Windows 7 has trouble starting up because of the missing drivers?)

I too suffer dells lack of win 7 64bit support. You can use the vista drivers as long as you install them in compatibility mode. to do so you right click installer>properties>compatibility mode check vista

Welcome the base sytem driver is your card reader, the other should be included in your chipset drivers. As Ken stated you can install the vista drivers in compatibility mode. Fabe

Dell studio drivers missing

Hi all, I´ve been surfing the internet looking for the solution of this problem,I have exactly the same problem on my Dell Studio 1535. I upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7and I couldn´t use my integrated webcam and microphone anymore. Lewisteo please,do you still have these drivers from your laptop ? they may help me and bitquestion to fix the problem, I´d be very grateful if you could send me those drivers. Unfortunately, there are no windows 7 compatible drivers for this system model on Dell support website. However you can try downloading the Vista x64 in a compatibility mode by clicking on the URL mentioned: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/studio-1535

If issue still persists, you can try downloading the Dell Webcam Central from the URL mentioned below:
http://dell-webcam-central.software.informer.com/download/
