Missing DLL file

I have a brand new Dell Inspiron and was missing the msstdfmt.dll file. I downloaded it and put it in the system32 folder, but it still says it is not there. Can anyone tell me what could be wrong and how to fix it?

I had this very same problem yesterday. I tried to register the existing msstdfmt.dll file using the procedures outlined in the posts above. It wasn't until I downloaded a new fresh msstdfmt.dll file and registered that one that I had complete success.
