Solved missing light blue ribbon on top of task bar

I did post something almost like this one but I am missing the light blue ribbon that sits on top of the task bar at the bottom of my email program. It tells me when there is mail, that I am sending out mail, that I have no mail when I hit send/receive and on the left side of it it tells me how many email I have in certain folders. It is seen on my husbands web site on this same computer but not on mine. I did have it afew days ago but do not remember hitting anything that would make it go away. Is there a way I can get it back. please??

Hi welcome to SevenForums,
As far as I can tell your referring to a messenger of some type,
The taskbar doesn't come with any messengers,
Any messenger would install a notification icon in the Action center on the bottom right next to the time and date,

These notifications would come from a third party toolbar add-on,
Which do you use, Yahoo/ Gmail......

Darek already told me to check Status Bar and click it and that is what got me to it again. thanks for answering me though.
