Missing Minimize and Restore Down Buttons

So I am having the weirdest thing going on with windows 7. I am missing my minimize and restore down buttons and my close down button is a small square. This seems to affect mainly my windows explorers. Down below is a screenshot:

Here are the attempts I made to fix it:

- Use restore point to where the problem did not occur. (still occurs)
- Update and rollback NVIDIA.
- Boot in safe mode (problem still occurs).
- Update windows 7.
- Just restarting my machine.

At this point I don't know what else I can attempt to fix this. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hi & welcome to the Forum.

It could be caused by your screen resolution size. In other words part of the full screen is getting cut off or truncated by it being too wide.

Try changing your screen resolution either at the monitor itself or within Windows.

If you look carefully you can just see the edge of one of those buttons at the top right at the RH edge of your screen shot.
