Missing Stereo Mix Driver

So I recently replace my hard drive and now Stereo Mix is missing. As in it won't show up in disabled devices. So if anyone can direct me to the place where I can get the driver I would appreciate it. I literally can't find it ANYWHERE.

What model Lenovo laptop do you have? Your "specs" are minimal.

Why did you change hard drives?

How did you install a new hard drive in your laptop? Did you reinstall Windows from scratch when you replaced your hard drive?

Or did you simply copy your old drive to your new drive with "system image" or "cloning" or similar?

Or did you use "recovery media" and the recovery partition on the original drive?

Or some other techinque? What?

Lenove V570(although not sure why this is needed)

I simply bought a specific replacement for my model laptop and put it in. I installed windows from scratch.
I had to reinstall all other drivers but it seems I missed one.

The model of the laptop may be necessary to research specific hardware included with it. Not all PCs are the same.

For your Stereo Mix problem;
Right click on the speaker in the lower right corner. (Notification Area)
Click on Recording devices.
In a blank area of the Sound window, Right click and check both boxes.
Apply then OK out.

Lenovo V570(although not sure why this is needed)

Because Lenovo provides model-specific downloads for your model (and every other model desktop or laptop, for that matter), providing all drivers and BIOS and utilities for all of the hardware on your particular V570 machine.

Just go to that page, select the "audio" item from the "component" dropdown, select "Win7 64-bit" from the "OS" dropdown, and you will see the vendor-certified Lenovo-provided Realtek audio driver for your machine:

Realtek High Definition Audio Driver for Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit) - Lenovo B470, B570, V370, V470, V570

You would then download and run the provided driver-installer EXE file, and you would have not only the Realtek audio driver but anything else Lenovo adds in, (e.g. perhaps also Dolby Home Theater software provided by Lenovo... but I don't know).

This does appear to be an older driver file, but I'd still go with it as Lenovo "certifies" it for your V570 laptop.
