Mixer Slider goes down to zero randomly

For some reason sometimes my mixer volume slider goes down to zero automatically... it happens randomly and using different applications (WM, Songbird, Media Monkey).

Any suggestion??? :shock:

Your media players are probably hooking up to the standard volume controls. If you have the option, set your media players to use the "Default Direct Sound Device" for playback. Direct sound has it's own set of volume controls and won't disturb your standard windows mixer...
