Im planning on buying a monitor for office use, does anyone know if the DVI TO hdmi will work on this monitor?

The reason for this is I need HDMI compatibility but with height adjustment and my laptop only has hdmi and this monitor supports dvi or dvid
Im 99% sure it will work, but I need opinions.
If anything, can anyone rec a height adjustable monitor that uses hdmi?
