For the past year now my computer has been somewhat randomly crashing. It mostly BSOD after a few seconds of trying to watch a youtube video but some times I can go hours and not a single BSOD. It has BSOD when I have nothing running and just go afk for a few minutes. My brother and I have been testing every single part, I currently have two computers and I have been switching back and forth between the parts and it's still BSOD. We thought it might have been a virus I have been getting but we tested it and I only had steam, minecraft and garry's mod installed, all three trusted things and it would still crash the second I got on youtube and try to play a video. I have tried the fix where you uncheck the box that says "Use hardware acceleration when available" and it is still crashing. I have also tried different browsers, Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer. My brother and I are running out of ideas as to what could be causing the crashing. Oh and no idea if this makes a difference but the last computer I tested I somehow managed to fry the power supply and I am using the same one I used on the dell I have. I have an old dell and custom build computer and the only things that they have had in common while testing this entire time is software, the power supply and the wiring to the wall, which was a theory of mine. I live in a 60 year old house and I think it's bad wiring causing it to crash but I could, and probably am, wrong. Any ideas at all would be greatly appreciated.

One of the most frequent causes of stop 0x124 BSOD in windows 7 is the missing service pack.

Install Service pack 1 and all other windows updates. Otherwise the system will remain vulnerable to threats including stop 0x124 BSOD.
Code:
[COLOR=Red]Windows 7 Kernel Version 7600 MP[/COLOR] (2 procs) Free x64
Product: WinNt, suite: TerminalServer SingleUserTS
Built by: 7600.16385.amd64fre.win7_rtm.090713-1255

Report us for any further BSOD after doing it.

Alright, so I have installed the Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and I have finished downloading and installing all the updates. It is still BSOD at random times.
