This is SO frustrating
I've had this problem for about a year now; Basically, when I put my computer to sleep, it wont wake up unless I press the power button. Jiggling the mouse or pressing ANY button on the keyboard does nothing.
I have already done significant research on this, so here are the things I've already tried:

1)Checking the "Allow this device to wake the computer" and unchecking "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" In device manager. I've done this for every USB option it would allow, as well as for the mouse, keyboard, and every HID device it would allow.

2)There is no option in my BIOS for allowing/disallowing the keyboard to wake the computer, or any other device for that matter.

3)Hibernate is disabled, and hybrid sleep is not possible on my system

4)Going into my power options through control panel, selecting change plan settings on my current plan, then changing advanced settings, and setting "USB selective suspend setting" to disable

5)Plugging my mouse into different USB ports, on both the front and back

6)Updating all the drivers

7)Uninstalling and re-installing all the drivers

8)Scanned and removed all malware

9)Trying all of these over and over again

Can anyone please help me? I understand it's a hard problem since there are so many solutions, but any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I have a Logitec M505 wireless mouse.

Thank you!

Have you replaced the batteries in the mouse?. If you have a wired mouse try that & see if it works. If it does you may have a wireless interference problem from another device that is causing problems with the M505.

Brand new AA's and still no effect - I dont see how there could be wireless interference, it's my only wireless device and its no more than a couple inches from the receiver.

Thanks for your replies,
I tried another logitech wired mouse, which didn't change anything. I also tried some other wireless mice that were different models, also no effect.
