Mouse over pop-ups

Hope I can describe this properly!

On the main pages of this site, if a mouse is hovered over a question, a pop-up appears with more of the question.

If I now open an Explorer window over the top of the page the pop-ups will appear on the Explorer page. Not always, and it's not a big deal .......if I swipe it with my mouse it disappears!
I just wondered why it happens and if it happens to anyone else.

It doesn't happen only with this site but others where mouse overs produce pop-ups.

Yeah, I think it happens to everybody, and I've heard that it was Java Script doing this. Forgive me if I'm wrong, I'm no expert lol.

Thanks for the link, but it isn't the pop-ups appearing where they should that's the problem. The pop-ups are showing through other pages that are open on top of the page that has the pop-up.
Like I said, it's not a big problem: I move my mouse and they disappear.....slightly annoying though!

Oh, ok I see what you are talking about. This pop-up also overlaps other windows. I guess it's an annoyance we just have to tolerate.

Ha Ha......that's it exactly. My question's pop-up showing thru' Control Panel.

If it happens to you too, then I guess it's a common thing that we'll have to live with.
